The Vale Niseko: Strong Summer Sales

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

With yet another apartment sale last week, Nisade is proud it’s keystone building, The Vale Niseko, is showing such strong demand through the four seasons.

Buyers, traditionally buying during winter periods only, are now visiting Niseko scoping the alpine summer for property buys. The Vale Niseko has hosted many a purchaser this summer already and with the onsen, private onsens and pool - what better way to enjoy the summer greenery.

There are only a handful of ski-in ski-out apartments available. Now is the best time to secure this iconic Niseko building before the next season winter prices set in.

The Vale Niseko Selling Quickly

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

Five sales in two days.

Niseko

Just recently relaunched, the ski in ski out properties in The Vale Niseko are selling quickly. We are seeing interest from both overseas and in-house guests who have stayed and bought on the spot.

Nisade views this buyer splurge as confirmation of the rarity of quality, luxury, ski in ski out properties in Asia. Buyers are purchasing not only because of location but also due to amenity. The Vale’s outdoor heated pool (only one in Niseko), private onsens, international restaurant, chic lobby and apres ski terrace have been a driver in reason to purchase over other typical Niseko apartments and houses.

With Chinese New Year fast approaching, buyers have a limited time to get in before they sell out.

The Vale Niseko Onsen…the Ultimate Après Ski Experience

Monday, November 24th, 2008

An onsen is an outdoor thermal bathing experience like no other.

A jacuzzi after a day in the powder snow is great, but a Niseko onsen takes après ski to the next level with mineral rich water being sourced from 700m below, having filtered down through the volcanic rocks under neighbouring Mount Yotei.

A Japanese tradition going back 1400 years, onsen water is rich in minerals providing various properties depending on its source from relaxing, healing or rejuvenation…perfect after a day in Niseko’s powder.

Onsens generally consist of multiple baths, both inside and out. The outside bathing experience under falling Niseko powder snow is truly a zen like experience; top this with a relaxing Japanese beer watching night skiers on the mountain under the winter lights surrounded by old volcanic rocks and snow…this is the Niseko experience.

Most onsens require full nudity and as awkward as this may seem to some, this traditional ritual is actually quite comfortable. A modesty towel is provided, lights are generally low and the steam creates an allure of comfort and tranquility. There may also be an option for a private onsen from which couples and families can book privately for a more secluded thermal experience.

The Vale Niseko onsen looks up the ski run allowing sublime alpine views in an ultimate relaxing environment. Designed to accentuate the ski run panorama, it is an eclectic mix of traditional and ultra modern Japanese interiors with cedar timbers, alpine stones and atmospheric lighting for a thermal bathing experience like no other.

Good Snowfall in Niseko Tonight

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Niseko Japan: the predicted dump is here. Dropping 15cms during the day with a lot more predicted over the next five days.

Ski season opening day is this Saturday - if it continues at this pace we may see some of the same we had on last years opening day.
