Epic ‘09 / ‘10 Season Niseko Snowfall (soon to reach 9 metres)!!

Monday, January 18th, 2010

The 09/10 season has seen bumper snowfalls that has pleased even the most picky of the local powder snobs. Those locals that would “only get out of bed for 20cm or more of fresh” have been getting out of bed early 18 days out of the last 34 days, oh and if they thought 10cm was worthy then an additional 5 days taking it to 23 days out of 34 days or 67% of available days.

With 10 epic days of over 40cm its been a blessed season to date.  Even with the storm cells we have enjoyed clear blue skies and awesome powder.  Rest assured though that most of the Nisade team has been hard at work so we cherish every opportunity we get also, its not all beer and skittles.
